A GARDEN WONDERER

Today while playing in the garden , I found a creepy looking caterpillar. Dad  put it into my insect magnifying jar.
Mum and I googled on caterpillars and found it to be a Towny Coster [Acrea Violae].

It is reddish brown, ( little glossy ) on the upper side and yellowish white on the underside. The head is reddish. It has six eyes. It has six rows of branched spines. The spines are sharp but harmless. It feeds on leaves and small shoots and eats often. This species is predominantly found in India and Sri Lanka.

I named it Mojo. Will I keep it? I don't know.....yet.
