KL Tower Mini Zoo

Saturday morning I got busy very busy getting ready for a day out since I did not have any other 'activities'. It was an early birthday treat and I had no idea what or where it was.
We drove into town to an area we don't always head to. At first I saw the tall tower known as K.L Tower. As dad parked the car I saw the sign that said K.L Tower Mini Zoo.
I knew that was my treat and I love animals. I do not like insects and creepy crawlers. I put on my hat and my sunnies, sprayed mosquito repellent and I was raring to go.
Mom had to collect the tickets so dad and I stayed in the shade in the gift shop.
We started at the Bird Aviary. You can feed the parrots here but look out for the fan tailed pigeons above your head ( you do not want to get pooped on).
Next we walked to the Emu and Fallabella Horse stable. You can feed the Emu too but they were too busy feeling on the grains to come over. There was lots of chickens walking about too.
I spotted 2 very full Pythons one of them is an Albino python. The bat eared foxes were sound asleep (a lot like me) so we moved on to the Mini Jungle where you can pet and carry and feed the rabbits, feed the prairie dog with sunflower seeds, feed the Wallaby with carrots and other green vegetables as well as corn to the squirrel monkeys. Walk a little further and you see the Albino crow and iguana and meerkats, Giant Toads and dwarf Caiman and   Alligator snapping turtles. I was told that these turtles are not slow movers and are related to dinosaurs. I will not be feeding the snapping turtles anytime soon. I did in fact feed the common Snapping Turtle almost got my finger snapped because I was not paying attention.
We tracked back and went Longkang fishing. Did I manage to catch any fish.....nope, they were too fast for me. We continued to Pet Village where rabbits, Guinea Pigs, and Sulcata Tortoise live and you can feed them with food provided. From here at our guide will lead you to the millipedes (yucky) and the Albino Long Tailed Macaques but you cannot feed them and be sure to keep your hands to yourself. There you will also see sugar Gliders, scorpions, Gigantic Monitor Lizards, Raccoons and more Dinosaur Turtles.
You can go for lunch and re-enter if you want to spend more time with the animals but be sure to follow the guidelines , do not jump and scream and run around as the animals can get agitated with such excitement and sudden movements. The mini zoo is open 365 days from 10am to 9pm. I spent 4 hours in the mini zoo an hour for lunch and an hour exploring the Blue Coral Aquarium. It was a wonderful early birthday treat.
